Ever used traditional plastic wraps to wrap food? You can do the same and more with beeswax wraps. If you are still confused about how to use it in your daily life, here are some uses:

Wrap half-eaten fruits

Ate half an apple and want to store the rest of it in the fridge? Or want to wrap half of an avocado, lemon, lime, or onion to save for later? You should not use an eco-unfriendly plastic wrap to store them as it does more harm than good. Also, it does a poor job of sealing and sticking around over your food items. Beeswax wraps, on the other hand, are naturally flexible and tacky. They do an excellent job of hugging the odd shapes of food items in the best way, creating a breathable seal that keeps them fresh for long.

Wrap your favourite sandwich and take to work

What’s the best way to keep your favourite sandwich fresh till your break time at the office? Wrap it well in a beeswax wrap and put it in your bag, that’s it. Take it out and eat it fresh whenever you want. Not only this, but you can also wrap sandwiches and put them in your little champ’s lunchbox so he can enjoy his lunch fresh.

Traveling? Wrap your soap bar or toothbrush instead of keeping it in a plastic bag

If you travel a lot, you will know the mess that plastic bags create. You can’t use them once they are dirty. The best thing is you can use beeswax wraps to seal your bar of soap, toothbrush, and shampoo and save a lot of space. Even if your soap is still wet, the beeswax wrap will stick into it, keeping it sealed and leak-proof.

Use it as a funnel

If you don’t have a funnel to fill your snack jars, simply roll your beeswax wrap and turn it into a funnel. Use it to transfer your favorite nuts, dry goods, or corn kernels into the jar without spilling them.

Have leftovers? Wrap them

Most bowls don’t come with a lid, so what you can do is cover them using a beeswax wrap with fresh or leftover food inside – and eat it fresh whenever you want to.

Fold and turn it into a snack pouch

Watching a movie with your friends or family members and snacking on popcorn? Take a beeswax wrap, fold it, turn it into a snack pouch, fill it with popcorn and don’t let anyone else eat it (you can share if you want, no worries). Not just popcorn, but you can also put your favourite nuts, chocolate, or pretzel into it. Snack on them while you walk, and once you are done eating, just put the wrap back in your pocket.

Cover your glass of water or a cup of tea

Finding yourselves in a situation where you have to put aside a cup of tea or coffee, or a glass of water and don’t have anything exactly the size to cover up your cup or glass? Don’t worry. Just take the smallest beeswax wrap (15mx15cm) to wrap around your glass of water, put in the fridge and save for later. The wrap will form and stick nicely around your glass and will not transfer any smell to your drinks.

Use it as a gift wrap

You will not be giving someone the gift alone, but an amazing chance to experience the magic of beeswax wraps. Unlike those shiny gift wraps that people tear off and never use again, beeswax wraps can be used in many different ways. The receiver might get so impressed by it that he/she might stop using plastic and start using eco-friendly beeswax wraps!

This is not the end; there are lots of other uses of beeswax wraps as well that you will get to know once you start using them.
